Pronounced Bill-er-icky, It's where all the Essex people who've won the lottery live!

Is Billericay the place where people live, who have won the Lottery, or won the Lottery Live?

I have never heard of Billericay. Does the "c" pronounced as an "s" or a "k"?

For our iraqi friend, it's pronounced Bill-ar-ric-kay, and normally rounded off with 'mate'! And it's full of gansters!

Yousef now my knowalge of the Kuwait langauge is...Zero... but how would a c turn ito a s sound!?

When we played Chelmsford i didn't see many gansters but i guess it's a long way to walk when you've been banned from driving or under 17!!!

I love playing spot the pikie villiage on the way to Essex teams!!

I think the common pronounciation is Sh-ite we - r- in blood-ie es-ex a-gane!

There is some good news then for you Marcus, only 4 League trips to Essex, Billericay, Chelmsford, Braintree and Heybridge.

If you had been in the premier last season you would of had, Canvey, Thurrock, Ford, Heybridge, Braintree, Grays, Hornchurch and Billericay. (8 that season as no Chelmsford)

Our record in Essex is a bit of a strange one really. When in Ryman Div 1 North we dreaded our trips to essex and somehow this has resulted in us having this mentality that we always lose in Essex. Looking back at our record that season in the league, we played 9 Essex teams, winning 3 drawing 3 and losing 3 on our travels. That isn't terribly bad is it?

We beat East Thurrock, Wivenhoe and Leyton Pennant (don't know if they are strictly Essex but they play in the Essex Senior Cup, or at least they do now they are called Waltham Forest)

We got draws at Aveley, Great Wakering Rovers and Harlow (thanks Ian)

We lost at Hornchurch, Barking and East Ham and Tlbury.

Not a great record but not the dire record that you might have thought given our Essex anxieties!
