Today's match wasn't the greatest I thought. You shaded the first half, but we took control once we had made our substitutions, with Danny Carey-Bertram's pace causing you all sorts of problems.

 

Don't know why we copied your tactics. We were never likely to win much in the air against Moore, McCarthy and Essandoh, and long ball isn't really our style.

 

You look like a difficult side to beat and should have no worries about relegation (!) if you keep it up. Very impressed by Drury, but McCarthy was your best player IMO.

 

Even if he did give Drury a bollocking for giving the ball back to our keeper when the ref stopped the game when one of our defenders was injured clearing a corner. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Our manager didnt sound too impressed by the decisions for the disallowed goals (and indeed a comment on the main confguide forum from one of the Hereford fans suggests he wasnt convinced the second was a good decision). Were they both reasonable decisions, can anyone say? (I hope they are included in the online coverage when it comes up on Tuesday/ Wednesday, but they have a habit of leaving controversial moments out of the coverage)

Well, to me, both decisions seemed fair enough. Especially the second one, for Roy's disallowed goal - he looked offside, and we were in a good position to tell, being confined to a segregated area on the touchline and in line with the penalty box in question.
