...but I was wondering why all the Townies are so happy that Waltham Abbey lost? I can understand the angst re the other week's defeat, but surely you should have all been praying for a draw, no? Ramblers now go second, playing well and if they do ETFC at home, your chances of promotion will be defenestrated for yet another season....cue global whingeing! Just thought I'd mention it, that's all.

Behave you two.A win for Abbey would have seen them 10 points clear of Town. A Burnham win meant Burnham would be one point clear of Town.

 

Even after a Burnham win.The title is still in our own hands against them (so to speak) .We still need Abbey to drop points.[Correction] we need Abbey to draw one more game.Presuming we win all our's of course.

Payback is fun, but not unless it comes back and bites you on the bum. Read how I started this thread off. The Ramblers' win today could come back to haunt you, if you miss out on the title AGAIN this season by say, one or two points.
