compo the bloke who threatened you told me why he did so. you were shouting at one of our players while he was down, it happened to be the blokes son. he did not tell me what you said but just he told you to shut your mouth...which you did like a good boy.

 

we lost we can accept it. what a load of sh1t you wrote about our players though, slagging us off. WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, DEAL WITH IT.

 

onto the game, burnham1, credit to you boys for yesterday, HUNGRIER, SHARPER, STONGER and simply BETTER. well done, you boys were quality.

 

see compo thats how you take defeat, not the ref this the pitch that, the ball, the kit, the fans, the rain, the wind, the car park, the beer, the injuries, the amount of added on time, how long it took you to get to the ground, the linesman, the manager, the suspensions, need i go on. enjoy 3rd place.

Waltham Abbey were gonna lose sometime.

 

Isn't it sad when a club as big as Enfield Town (apparently) get so excited about another team losing a ESL fixture.

 

You tested yourself midweek against a team of a higher standard and got a hiding.

 

I tip both Abbey & Burnham to finish above ET.

 

It seems they have taken defeat with a bit of dignity unlike some of the Enfield hooligans who take it upon themselves to abuse the opposing team as much as possible.

 

The thing is it isn't intimidating just gives players something to laugh about.

it shows how much you TOWNIES are enjoying your season, you cant get any decent results to enjoy yourself so you have to jump on the back of another teams result, fair play to you it would not be the first time you have changed teams would it??? ouch! sorry lads, southport, mr happy, arkwright, brunob and a few others, you guys seem to watch the same game as everyone else, dont know how you put up with the other clowns though.

I just logged in to see the score on your website, hahahahahahhahahahahahahaha the website guy cannot even bring him/her self to mention the score! So I came over here to get the final score and see what is going down. Not a lot really, toys out of the pram and stuff like that.

 

I like the way you've turned it around by mentioning that Burnham have gone above Town though - I suppose that's your only way of getting something out of the result. Seriously though, I cannot believe you have to wait three weeks for another league game. Don't eat too much pudding Pinny or you'll not be able to waddle in the Waltham mud against Concord. On second thoughts, have a Merry Christmas Abbey!!! see you in the April sunshine on a flat pitch in Goldsdown.

You missed our League Cup win from the list, numpty. I thought the idea of a website was to have the scores where they can be easily seen, not hide them.

here you go my 2 pennies

 

being as near to neutral as you can be in the situtation, I enjoyed an entertaining game.

 

Yeah some bloke shouted (think it was @ Compo) after a WA players was encouraged to get up and get off the pitch as he was taking far too long to get up after a tackle. Now realise that this is a standard tactic for WA, to break play up.

 

I was sure 2 players were sent off?

Why was the BR player sent off? Asked the lino he didn't know!

 

anyway, as usual the guys in the cluib house were a friendly bunch.

 

ps are the lights up to standard? (this is a serious question) as it seemed very dark in the far corners.

on this incident ST, i believe we were losing at the time so he was hardly likely to be milking it was he? also we had a free kick so why would he be breaking the play up?

i dont know why the ref sent the burnham player off. he must of said something but then it was a second yellow.

ST maybe you should change your company at our games, you appear to have got a bit of the blame for shouting when we all know who is the ****, anyway as I said only 1 player from each side was sent off. BR player was for dissent the ref told me after. Contrary to others we are all a friendly bunch, I thought I might have got a pint out of you after this one but you swiftly dissapeared!

 

The lights were renewed at the start of the season but since a few bits of machinery has failed, we are working on them as we speak.
