I see the Sikh school has been given the go ahead. So Richard Stokes argues that he cannot spend public money (not that we'd asked for any) on a football club supported by a minority of fans yet a school for 420 pupils, many of which will be brought in from outside of the town, gets £6.2 million of public money. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

This despite the fact that some school classes in Slough will close as a result as there's already a surplus of junior school places. Oh, and if you fancy falling ill, don't do it at school opening or finishing times as you stand no chance of getting near Wexham Park hospital through the traffic that will result.

I know sikhs are not black but the council and goverment in gerneral feel they need to be seen elping out ethnic groups... If It was a Asian sport i'm sure you'll be back in Slough by now

 

Please don't think this is racist and if i offended anyone i'm sorry...it's not meant to offend...Ah bollcks i'm drunk and i'd just dig a deeper hole explaning it....

I couldn't care if it's a Sikh School, a Muslim, Catholic, Hindu or C of E. Slough does not need any more junior school places and it certainly doesn't need any more for kids that will be brought in from outside of the town.

 

That land could have been put to good use by a certain senior sporting body in the town and just to prove to Stokes and his cronies that our complaints are not politically motivated, that was a bloody Labour decision.

Apparently, the Sikh's have a new hobby in life.

 

Picketting and attacking a theatre, just because they don't like the content of a play !

 

So much for 'Free-Speech' in this country, then !

It wasn't so much the content but the fact that it was in a Sikh temple. I'm sure many devout Christians would have been appalled had it been set in a church. Not that I agree with them attacking the theatre, mind. Oh and what's this got to do with football?

Why don't you just give up? You'll be at Windsor until a new power takes control at SBC. It's clear as day. They are hardly going to change their mind and look like even bigger idiots are they.

And perhaps you should give up on your team as well then Woody, given that Greene left you in the [censored] by jumping to a not much bigger ship, you've had your worst league attendance for years and you're behind Slough in the table who have four games in hand.

If we give up now, they win. If we keep fighting to keep ourselves in the forefront of peoples minds and get the public increasingly on our side with continual constructive campaigns, then they will, and can, come round to supporting us. You watch their opinions suddenly change when election time comes back around for them.
