I find all this very funny. Supporters from other clubs think they can make a difference to ETFC by stirring. Every club in the country that has any amount of supporters, from London APSA to Man Utd, will suffer this sort of imbecilic nonsense. It always makes me smile, as I can't help but think of how wound up these anonymous individuals must be to need to go online and say this sort of stuff. The other thing that makes mne smile is how wound up some of the ETFC supporters get because of it. Who cares what they say? It's the results on the pitch and the achievements off the pitch that really matter. Looking at the season as a whole, we're doing fine.

It's true the ref didn't draw the raffle until after full time. The tickets were cheating and diving all over the place which made it hard to pick one.

At the end of the day the ESL is a fine well established league with a great history of launching clubs into a higher football sphere. And some good successes in the FA Vase too I should point out.

 

Just as it is true to say that a club is bigger than any of its component parts so is the league that it plays in.

 

If your club is playing at this level then no-one can talk it upwards. You have to do the business first.

 

And that means being top at the end of the b****dy

season.

 

There's no other way.
