Why would I be biased towards the council when I have been watching Margate for many years? For you to accuse anyone of bias is hilarious given the paranoid ravings you and others have been coming out with for many months.

It would be in the best interests of the club for all of us to be sceptical and ask awkward questions. That's not being disloyal, just the reverse.

As regards remaining anonymous, given the lobotomised state of some of our fans (and I emphasise it is a minority) I am not convinced that giving my identity would result in anything other than getting a kicking.

But returning to SE's comments, you have to appreciate he is in an awkward situation. Clearly you all want him to say 'yeah, the stadium plan is great' but that will upset the NIMBYs and would not be right given there is still a consultation period to come. Everything has to be done via the correct channels.

I wouldn't vote for the bloke and in no way do I think TDC are above criticism, but he is the council leader for ALL the residents of Thanet, not just people who support MFC.

This is turning into an excellent debate.So much so that between Cookie and Open Mind I don't what my own opinion is anymore.Good to see Cookie so positive by the way.I think I'm positive but could be confusing that with hope and wanting.Can picture Sandy putting something up his sleeve as we speak.As for staying anonymous for fear of a kicking from Margate fans I see the same faces at away games and think that's rubbish.We all know this is an opinions forum .You get a bit more creedance and respect for registered post <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/rasta.gif" alt="" />.Anyway,going to try and chill out now and await good news.
