Ezekiels replies

Sorry last time it was I who forgot to log on.

Replies to questions that I put to S.E to confirm that the clubs statement was correct in that things had in fact been accepted in full by the council. Seems for some reason these replies were deleted .They are meant ONLY to keep people up to date with Mr.Ezekiels side of things. Dont think its damaging to show them but it helps keep our feet on the ground. Nothing has really been agreed yet by the sounds of his replies. It also dosent knock us back either.People make of it what you will!

--------------------------------------------------

The Club have submitted a planning application and other documentation.

Providing they have kept with the agreement, that was agreed with the

supporters and club directors then I see no reason for the scheme not to

progress. Bearing in mind that they did not deliver anything until

Thursday pm and on Friday at around 1pm the planning application arrived

it is to soon to give a definitive answer on the planning application,

business plan, project plan.

best regards

Sandy Ezekiel

Leader TDC

REPLY NO;2

The Council has not approved and excepted the details that were

presented. They are currently being considered by our officers. It was a

very misleading statement. The council will as a matter of course need

to ensure that all financial matters are viable and du- diligence

process is completed. there will also be a thirteen week consultation

period during the planning process.

yours sincerely

Sandy Ezekiel

I think both replies now show that the club has now done all that it can and that NOW it really is in the hands of the council. They cannot now say "we are waiting for the club etc etc". This time it IS the councils turn finally to make a final decision. The outcome of some hard work by the club is now fully in the hands of the council and its their decision that we are looking for.The club have produced the goods so now its time for the council to play fair.

I usually close my eyes to the grammar and spelling on this site as you can normally get the drift of the statements.

Did Mr Ezekiel say and mean "excepted" or did he mean "accepted"?

Sounds to me as though they are (not the club ) are still playing games . to my mind asking the question only gives the game player a extra window. We as residents of this district are sick of the big table players, what ever side they sit. Stand on margate/cliftonville front, look around and ask what game are they playing.(i respect misa dave will have to delete what i realy think so i wont put him in that position.)

If you want correct punctuation and gramma then tune in to radio 4,i would recommend Womans Hour.

As usual I don't really know what to make of it.Think there are more negative undertones than positive ones and still get the impression that if they could scupper the plans they will. Why does it feel like a battle rather than something that should be exciting and forward thinking.See he's getting a lot of stick (deservedly so) in the local rags re. the Pleasurama debacle. This just seems like the longest saga ever.Although Sandy's winding me up always seems to increase my passion for the club-so there's a positive of sorts.

"The club have produced the goods so now its time for the council to play fair."

How do you know that? Have you seen all the documents that have gone to TDC? I'm not suggesting that MFC have not done everything correctly, but you cannot make such sweeping statements without producing evidence.

no that what the council said and then they gave the club a rescept saying that they had every thing they needed. and all that needs to be aproved are the business plans. which should take less than a week than recivecipt. the one propleem the club had with the business plan was it took 11 days for the council to tell the club any information on what the rent on the land would be after the 5 year rent free period.

Funny how the people who back the council (when they stab us in the back) never give their names.

I don't trust Ezekiel until he proves he can be true to his comments.

This is to the anonymous "open mind" person. It dosen't sound like you are at all open minded. To the contrary it seems like you are biased towards the council. The council,as stated, have accepted the plans etc and the FULL plans were on show last night so as for proof there it is. Thats obviously as far as we know but it all seems fine now. Just need seal of approval and we are there..I too still have those original doubts I had about the council but at least we have delivered now and at least the council have accepted them without further provisos. The only thing we are now waiting on is their perusal of everythhing and if as seen last night, and if the council can see that the plans are o.k. then that should give us the green light. The commercial stuff comes later anyway and lets face it most of us only really care about getting the ground and stadium underway. That is closer to happening than the WHOLE shabang. Keep on hoping people. Step by step we are getting there I am sure of it!

My understanding though is that the developers are providing the funding for the ground and they are hardly likely to build the ground for MFC unless they get the green light for the complete development so they can get a return on their investment
