Matty Miller goes on loan

It's a good move for both sides. Matt has not played in the first team for a long time (anyone know i'm thinking Cheshunt FA Cup?) and in truth is behind Hodgey, Seedel and Matt Murphy at the moment. It will be good for Matt to get some games under his belt and he is contracted, so he will be back. Also maybe Eddie wants a look at this Oxford United striker that played midweek.

Would not be suprised to see some others go out on loan as well.

Hope he comes back. I've just learned the words to the Matty Miller song - "Matty Miller, Matty Mill-er, Matty Miller, Matty Miller!" - er, at least I think that's how it goes. I'd hate to waste all that.

Well although there were plenty of dissenting voices when the subs were made (more or less for the entire second half in fact) I thought Eddie & Micky got it about right. Hodgey, despite the goal, looks only semi interested and this sub will hopefully give him the kick up the butt he needed, and Veli needs minutes on the pitch to help him regain match fitness.

Both Miller and Hakki did well when they came on and worked hard for the team. I'd still rather have Hodgey and Harris in the starting XI, but it's a good show of strength in depth that we do have.
