Parmenter returning to Dover

Let's hope so because Dover are a smashing club with a lovely ground. It'd be great to see them and Margate in the Conference with Gravesend. Could you imagine all the big gates and interest it would generate.

It's good to see your rivals failing on the pitch but no-one likes to see them fold.I wish Dover well and hope they overcome their troubles but remember Parmenter jumped ship at Margate after the ground was "unnecessarily" demolished. If he does help I hope all goes well.

Yes I read his statement but he dosen't actually say he IS going to dover.Together with that there is no mention that he is with margate but why would there be? I suppose he can have one foot in the door at each ,on the quiet here and in the open with dover.

I hear that Dover are thinking about knocking down their ground before getting planning permission to rebuild it a relocate for several seasons to destroy their long established support and then blame the council for getting it wrong. THE INFLUENCE OF PARMENTER should not be underestimasted

What a load of hot air. The ground is council-owned and cannot be knocked down. There are strict rules that ensure it can't be.

Dover's set-up is stronger than Margate's .. if you take away the debts.
