Where exactly did the council say a decision was going to be forthcoming by friday?. Dont think they actually said it did they, well not to the public direct anyway. I know the club said that thats what the council intimated or maybe said to the club but no-where have I seen that coming from the council. They cant be trusted, the council, anyway, but we HAVE got further than ever we have before so we just have to keep our chins up and keep on hoping. Continued pressure on the TDC surely cant do any harm,if done politely.

So again it must have been true then! With respect we musnt always believe what we are told. Lets face it I said we would lose heavily today and we didnt! Unless the council actually come out and say it then we have to be wary of news like this. This is exactly why I e.mailed S.E himself. For verification of such things.

Just playing with you Hartgeman just playing!

i make the mistake of trusting the bbc and the club and the MISA silly me.( i dont know who to trust any more <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />)

i only say what i hear if i get it from one good sourse(eg bbc, thanet council) or many reasonably safe sourses.

i thougt this was godd info as it was on the bbc web site and the MISA(who got thier info from the club, plus i geuse some wishful thinking proply clouded my judgement. i guess i am an optomistic person.

Its o.k. I do the same. Getting info from whatever source is something us guys on here look for. So in that sense you were o.k.to mention it.

Its then up to the individual to believe or not to believe. No problems! Keep giving us whatever info you acquire whenever you get it.

i will. i tend only to post it if i get from a resionable web site ie margate fc.com, bbc.co.uk/kent, thanet council or Misa plus the local papers an i put the whole information in so not to get it wrong. this time it was on the bbc and then reiterated at the meeting on thursday so persumed it was true.

sandy says he and his team are still looking over the plans and they will make a join statment when they do. they said the club would be the first to know of their descision. the reason they havent given permision yet they are checking if the company backing the stadium has the funding in place. they also say that they have been working hard on the plans handed in by the club as of the late/last minuite handing in of the plans.
