Firstly thanks to Dennis & Fergie for all they've done at Windsor both as players and part of the management team and all the best for the future. But its a new era now, its disappointing they've left but but what i find worse is a few players want out, but if that's their attitude to be honest I'd rather we got rid, no matter how good they be. I for one am only interested in players that want to play for the club, to up and leave straight away to me shows a lack of respect for the club, team mates and supporters they leave behind. Saturday marks a new beginning and it would be great for all supporters to really make themselves heard Saturday, get behind the team and in particular Dave Carroll. I think its great Dave's got the job albeit temporary, should hopefully allow a smooth transition, he's been there and done it as a player, and has the full respect of the players and also supporters. With the club xmas party in the evening, promises to be a good day Saturday, so rather than be down, lets view it optimistically and who knows lets really get behind the lads, get them into the play offs, get promotion, and we'll wave goodbye to Maidenhead as they make the reverse journey to the Ryman Premier!

 

ps, Craig are you back to training at Stag Meadow next week!? swap deal for the players that seem to be heading in that direction!

Yes, agree with all you say, Dave Carroll and/or Keith Scott have equal or better credentials than Dennis Greene or Colin Ferguson had when they were appointed. I say give them a chance if they are personally commited to the job. Good luck to our old boys. If they can keep Maidenhead in the Conference South, then their decision is vindicated. If not, maybe Dennis will be looking for his customary return to Stag Meadow.

Very well put Mr Gegg. I agree. Let's hope this shakes things up for the better. It would be interesting to see holsy and craig up front.
