I added Windsor into the conference south. In 2008 Slough got promoted into the game...Eddie Denton left you for Dover! And Steve Browne is assistant at Slough!

Yeah and they only have 2 correct players in the Slough team from what i can remember, did you (By any chance) boost some of your players stats (EG World class Chuck or Keith (Ronaldo) Scott?

In my game - Slough got promoted in 2006 and obviously I took over immediately. First step was to sack Browne. I have quite a few real players including Mets, Spencer, Harris, Haddow and Hodges (who does quite well). Re-signed Lloyd Owusu who is banging in the goals. I think Marcus you would have more real players in the Slough squad if you increased the size of your database.

Really? Its weird cos my computer doesnt like the editing package and gets all freaky with it! Which is silly as I have XP and a pen 4 so it should be able to cope with it all....May just concentrate on Slough winning everything in Pro Evo

When Slough were in the conference did Champ manager have that league playable?

 

I remember playing as them on some shitty game where you had to start off in the conference and it was an impossible game so they always lost...or they were pants

I don't think the conference was playable in 97/98 Champ Man but I can't be certain.

 

You had to start in the conference in Premier Manager. In the version I had you had to be Wycombe in the first season or promotion was impossible.

i think i got that game its prem manager 3 and its crap. you start well good then go crap no matter who you are, On my cm 01/02 carlton cole signed for slough but i still cant be them its lame, they wont get promoted.

97/98 definitely had no Conference, just a random team appearing in the Third Division at the start of the following season. In 00/01 (I think) I would often find Slough would get promotion to the Conference, and then take them over.

 

I remember a game called Ultimate Soccer Manager where you could be Slough in the Conference (it came with my old PC yeeeears ago) but it was crap.

Got Premier Manager 97 (96/97 season). Some conference teams included, including Slough Town, but you can't manage them but you can sign one or two of their players (providing they are on the transfer list). Teams from Division Three can't get relegated, and Conference teams don't get promoted, so you can't mamage them whatsoever.
