Extra Training Session

Has anyone else seen this. Its from the BBC sport Website:

 

"EXTRA TRAINING SESSION FOR FLEET

 

Gravesend and Northfleet Boss Andy Ford is introducing a Monday Morning training session in an attempt to get his squad fitter.

 

Ford told BBC Radio Kent: 'We've been waiting for an area to go and train on, and that's now sorted out and I'll be putting it to the lads this week.

 

The following week we'll be aiming to do a session on the Monday.

 

Some of them won't be able to make it because of their full time jobs so it won't be compulsory.'

 

He added: 'But we'll have to look ahead and see if we can get another training session in to get a bit more underneath our belt.

 

Otherwise we're not going to bridge the gap'"

Incidentally, daytime training is something Forest Green are trying as well at the moment.

He said that it's not compulsory, and that some of the players will be able to make the session. it's only on a trial basis anyway.

Ben Surey is at Uni, but who does what else?

Pinns works in Bluewater, Macca is a salesman, Porter is a fireman, Wilko works for a council, Roy is a gym instructor, Mooreo is a financial advisor, Lovell works in the City.

 

As far as I know Moose, Jukebox, Pullen, Pop and McCarthy only play football.

Does this mean the players that only play football are "effectively" full-time i.e. they train during the day by themselves?

I would imagine players such as Pullen and McCarthy are literally on full-time wages anyhow?

I know that Jukebox works, as he was gonna attend my CSLA with Macca, but apparently all of the squad, including Jukebox, had to work, so only macca came.

I think Lampard practises winning trophies, Henry practises his cheating and Rooney does his bit for the elderly.
