I take the point, Anonymous, but at the same time, we don't want the "Storyboard" to read:

 

1. Further abuse by Slough Fans occurs of Councillor, confirming all we've told you about them.....

 

2. Slough Town's silence is a refusal to condemn Abusive Callers to Leader

 

3. Slough Town does not deny existence of Hooligan Fringe

 

 

164 Council deserts Slough Town.

 

Personally, I felt that it was marginally better to be firm about any misbehaviour, and to challenge Stokes to put up or shut up.

 

But you are absolutely right that we need to get no. 164 back up to number one, so suggestions?

The papers should put those points over this week especially the Express from where it all began !

 

A reply letter from Ted Plenty, which sums up the issue and puts paid to the silly ness, on the letter and council's beleive that they think we would behaive in such a manner.

 

An apology from David Mac Issac too should be forth coming...I should think...!!!!!! David ?

 

Plenty of own goals again by this council...

Maybe plenty of own goals, but it's not moved us forward in the slightest unfortunately. We may be getting more support for our cause, but it's not turning into action from the council, so whilst we may appear to be moving forward in some respects, we're still very firmly at square one. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

TBH after what one of your 'fans' said to me on Windsor's forum i now think your fan base does have idiots like him who would make phone calls.

 

Okay so it's hardly scary and it is pathetic but its more or less the same thing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just like to point out i'm not at all bothered by this but it just shows a few people are the types that would threatern and make annoying phone calls

 

Replying to my 'Slough Aid 2004' which none of you took offence to...

 

'I would not do that if i was you wefc.I know a few slough lads are getting pissed off with your big mounth,you might end up getting a well deserved slap.'

 

like i said hardly scary but you DO have those types of fans!

These are exactly the types of comments that makes you appear to be stiring it up Woody, i read the post you are on about(from on anonymous poster) and it's hardly grounds to conclude that someone connected with the club has done such things as make phone calls.

Stop antagonising the situation!

But this is a sensitive situation right now and none of us want to say the wrong thing that could make it worse.
