Whilst I generally agree that you dont want to regularly play a young player such as Jamie Coyle in the first season back in the Conference, he did look very assured again tonight, just as he did in the majority of his appearances last season - indeed, I think the occasion only really got to him once last season - in the Trophy game against Stalybridge - that said no-one really performed at their best that day & I am sure Jamie would do a solid job if called upon.

Much as we want Francis back a.s.a.p. you are right in what you say about adequate experienced cover and not throwing young players in at the deep end, but just remember with the right approach and guidance it can work. The extreme example was Danny Lye v. Aldershot last season, anyone on their 1st match would without a doubt believed him to be an established regular. <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />
