We are all entitled to our opinions and at our club ours all have equal importance and thats what I like.

If one of the teams went out of business then there would be only one club left and not a united club!

Not a great game all round, I thought we (EFC) were lucky to go in at half-time level, second half we improved but still had a lot of difficult crosses to cope with , and we scored the only clear cut chance of the game. That's the way it goes sometimes. It looks to me like you've got easily enough to go through the rest of the season unbeaten, the question is will Abbey slip up and can you close the gap. Nice meeting Brunob, Top Gun etc.

And I know there are loads of people who don't want it to happen but 614 +, just think what a 'united' team playing in their own ground in Enfield could achieve- well we know already don't we - we've been there.

The olive branch was offered but was ignored by the new EFC.

It is clear that there should only be one team in Enfield and ETFC are sitting tenants. I do not see how EFC can come back to Enfield without some kind of deal being done with ETFC. But it looks like they want to remain out in the cold.

From an independant point of view I though that Enfield done enough to win the game.

The Town had a couple of good opportunitites but the final ball let you down.

Physically they were stronger...and more organised......thought AJ dominated at the back..

as an old EFC fan who follows both teams now - please someone put sdome sense into the whole thing and amalgamate. SO many people i spoke to yeterday were of the same view

then we might actually get one really good side together

Well I for one want a merger and I'm certain the majority of fans, wherever they may be, agree. It's just a few individuals at both ETFC and EFC who don't want to see it happen - why?

- they've put in alot of time, effort (& money) to get their respective clubs where they are today.

- like it or not there are bad feelings on both sides as one lot are labelled 'turn-coats' and the others are derided for flogging a dead horse and not sticking with the majority.

We all supported the same team once - why not do it again?

It certainly sounds like common sense to me. As you quite rightly say, you all supported the same side once and it would be a case of onwards and upwards if you were all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Mind you, the thought of having to cope with double the whinges every time you lose....hmmmmmm.

If perchance a merger did take place, am I right in saying that the new side has to take the slot of the lowest placed side? (If true, this probably came about following the Collier Row and Romford situ in 1996).
