think u got that the wrong way round Andy, dont think ETFC had 50 behind their goal and no way did EFC have 150 behind theres.

 

apparently they stoped couting after 614, and i think there was more.

spoke to JC after the game he was very dissapointed today to have been the better side and lose the game was their to be won but we did not take our chances JC wished them the best in the next round.

I was at the game today and would say that, like last week ETFC, probably had the majority of the game. But they paid the price for NOT turning it into goals. Didn't see much of the first half as I was late but I was reliably informed by my EFC friends that they were lucky to still be in it at the break.

Nicky. The goal I was standing behind in the second half had the EFC goalkeeper standing between the posts. This was his goal and we were trying to score into it. Which goal were you behind?

Actually, turning up late was NOT planned. I hate missing the start of matches.

 

If you know me then you would know that I do not drive and have to rely on others... it was a last minute thing when a friend phoned to ask me if I wanted to go.

 

Tight ? Hmm... bought 2 progs, a special edition badge for the game and refreshments.

Agreed. Town got into plenty of good goalscoring positions. A few just 6 yards out with only the keeper to beat. Not clinical enough.

it is all well scoring against rubbish teams but you need to be able to score in big games! like today and last week!

i am a enfield town fan

 

and would like to say

 

(1) the pitch was bad

(2) so was the ref

(3) and the linos

(4) etfc kit was dirty

(5) the tea was cold

(6) so was the coffee

(7) it was to cold for us

(8) jims not the man

(9) we need new players

(10)they looked fitter than us

(11)the ball was flat

(12)our players studs were to long

(13)last weeks heavy pitch took it out of us

(14)we should train more

(15)we never sang enough

 

 

i think maybe its time for both enfields to join up and make just one average team
