After three months without a PC, Red Neck is back.

 

To cut a long story short. A power surge wiped my hard drive clean in mid September. And since I couldn't reboot it myself, it went for a factory repair job. However, instead of the promised FOUR DAY turnaround, City Link (the courier) and Acer Computers (the manufacturer) lost it, with no record of it ever being collected. After months of phone calls, wrangling and threats of criminal action it was found...

...in Acer's repair centre in Plymouth. Financial compensation is expected.

 

So, it's great to be back on-line. Thanks to Lil' Red Neck for entering my predictions - something extra in Christmas stocking me thinks. I can't be bothered catching up on all the missed messages, but I have got lots to say about whats happening with the 'Fleet', so expect to hear a lot from me over the next few days.
