I was really impressed by the way that Pullen kept goal. So positive and bold in his approach. I'd like to see some more of him. Watchout Wilco you finally have competition for this slot.

 

By the way I am not anti Wilco, as I know he can play better than he has done over the last few games. Keep going lads, it will come right.

Agree, John, Pullen's handling was top class - absolutely faultless.

He commands his entire 18 yard box and seems to have good judgement when to come and when to stay.

He also pulled off a couple of outstanding saves.

Now all we need is Pops to get fit, a midfield playmaker, and a big strong Portway!!

The only problem that James Pullen had on saturday was that for two of the goals, apart from the jubious decisions of the linesman, there were too many players in the box defending for him to really see much.

other than that he played excellent, bar the first half free kick that went no where.!
