I've been looking at old posts on this forum (and I mean very old) and judging by the attitude of everyone posting at the moment I'd say this is the most optimistic we've been in a long time.

 

I don't pretend to know very much about the goings on in the club but at the moment everything seems to be going our way, our fan base is expanding (slowly) and it seems like everyone is looking forward to a bright future in the conference south!

 

I'm back from uni on the 18th so I'm gonna miss the Dover game but I'll be there for Slough and nothing on earth is gonna stop me going to Chelmsford hope to see a huge crowd!!!!!!

Yeah it's weird, never knew we were actually supposed to enjoy supporting Billericay <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> always thought it was some kind of penance for some unmentionable sins of the past <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

 

Seriously though, we're definately on our uppers at the moment - things are going well on and off the pitch - and the really encouraging thing is that all the talk from "the powers that be" is of taking things slowly to get them right for the long term!
