Question for Fleetbabe or Robert Stevenson

We lost today. All Barnet's goals came from play down the right hand side - our left side. Do the stats lie?

No - another awful performance from a certain player, although I thought that most of the team capitulated when Barnet made it 1-1.

Bizarre substitution from Andy today, which smacked of blatant desperation. I'm sure Brentford will be overjoyed to hear that we brought their player on as a sub for 20 minutes, only to substitute him again when he had done nothing wrong?

Tick tock ..... & the alarm bells are ringing.

Remember Southport.

I'm sure that the question is in there.
Fleetbabe or Mr. Stevenson will tell you all about it.

Well, I wasn't so worried when the bottom three were getting cut off, but now that Forest Green and Northwich's recent form is actually quite good for sides in the relegation zone, FF is right to be concerned.

To be honest, it could well be the case that we still haven't won by the New Year, since we have Hereford away and Crawley's excellent home record to contend with - although Accy's inconsistency could work in our favour on the 28th. It could well be the Leigh game on January the 8th where we get back to winning ways - a concern, since the last side we actually beat was Leigh, of course.

And as for Jukebox, while it obviously wasn't one of his better displays again today, injuries mean that he is undroppable at present - and a lack of competition for places will inevitably lead to some below-par displays from most of our players.

I take it that you mean that Jukebox had a poor game then FF?

He was trying, making some good tackles, and he should have scored a couple of timesm, but I think once we lost manny, we couldn't compensate and the midfield fell apart. It wasn't just Jukebox, Jay, macca and moussa were all over the place too.

I dont really think you can blame anyone (except for maybe the linesman). All three of their goals were really well worked moves.

If you do feel that all the goals came from that side, should Justin Skinner not get the blame? I personnally though Skins was one of our best players on Saturday (again) and don't think he should receive blame for anything.

I didn't say that, but surely, although Moussa is an attacking player, he should have been back helping to defend like everyone else. the linesman was dreadful, and played a major part in two of the three goals, both of which were blatently offside. Then when we're 3-1 down, he decides to keep up with play and stick his flag in the air because he feels sorry for us. I've got a more imaginative place he can put it!

drury was getting some stick from the halfway liners during the 2nd half and turned and gave them a mouthful. whatever we think of individual players, once they cross the touchline they are part of the team and we should support them. They are obviously short of confidence at the moment and mindless criticism from the stand (amd it was mindless!!) won't help. Drury is, and remains a class player. I think most teams in the Conference and above would snap him up. However his confidence is probably more brittle than most because of the way he plays. Of course he drops a b*LL*ck at times but I was at Forest Green when he played an absolute blinder. He was one of the better players in the last few games as well. Rant over, Goodnight

Ahem, I was on the halfway line and if it's the incident I'm thinking of, it happened further down towards the open end, when he turned round and said something. Certainly don't recall him giving us a mouthful.

So don't tar us with that brush thank you very much.

He was getting some stick from closer to the home end, to the left of the gantry as you look at it from the tunnel.

Disagree that he was trying to show off too much. As I said, after 60 minutes the midfield fell apart, especially Jay, who seemed to lose his focus.

He tries really hard to be a beeter player, but mindless criticism form, lets face it, people who can't really be real Gravesend supporters, doesn't help to bring up the confidence of the team.

I think you'll find that their first goal came across from the left wing (dugout side), which Grazioli picked up and slotted in to Hatch. the second was miles offside, and it was the ginger t*** who looks like tommy from coronation street that scored it. the third came across behind Justin Skinner, Mooro went across to cover, and the player put the ball into the box, where it was picked up by a player who came down the centre of the park. Watched all 3 goals on Meridian last night. NOW STOP TRYING TO BLAME JUKEBOX.

rant over, gonna get on with some coursework now!
