His performance wasn't terrible, but his card decisions were and he made one or two awful free-kick decisions.

 

Is it any coincidence that Mr Dorr today and Mr Harris are both in the top four of Whitebucket's card-happy refs...

So in 90 minutes he made 1 or 2 awful decisions , how shocking !

My main point being he was a card-happy ass.

 

But I know you're one of the Referee Cartel, so easily upset by grief to one of your own.

He was at least consistent...everytime someone fell over he booked the player nearest to him.

He was fair to both sides though, some of their bookings were as bad as Drurys.

I thought he was terrible, and so were his two linesmen. they were both constsantly 10 yards behind the play. 2 of the goals were offside, but because of the linesman, both of them stood. Liam Hatch was about 5 yards off when the ball was played to him, as was bailey.

 

As for the referee, I was surprised that the fourth official didn't substitute him! The elbow by the barnet 17 which ended in a bit of a melee with roy on the floor right on half time was a definite sending off, and the linesmen did nothing to convice the ref of this fact, but just stood there.

 

Got to be the worst officials we have had this season, and they cost us the three points. they need to go back to whichever refereeing academy they came from.

Of the games i've seen this year i'd say Deadman at canvey was probably the worst,even with better officials on saturday i think Barnets class and fitness would have eventually shown.

Unfortunately this happens all too frequently in the lower leagues........The Refs instructions to his assisstants are........"You give throw in's and corners.....leave the rest too me!"...they learn teamship as they climb up the league(SOMETIMES).

Depends what you mean by lower leagues , you normally find they want less help the higher they get.

As Fleet boy implies, I think what really cost us the three points was Barnet being a better side than we are.

You will always get one or two, but on the whole the Higher up the leagues you go they act more as a team. That has been more evident now the Assisstant can alert the Ref to an incident with the button on his flag, instead of standing there waving like mad.

Refs are human after all.....they have bad days just like players, managers.............and fans!

The trouble was, the ref was listening to the Barnet manager when it came to giving decisions on fouls more than he was listening to his own linesmen. What does that say about him. Was the Barnet manager employed by him as a 5th official so that they could grab the 3 points?

I wasn't saying that, I was on about the Barnet manager looking as if he had been employed by the ref, the amount of decisions he had a say in.

No JC, I was refering to the "oh Look it's another Arsenal player on the floor" Robert "cheat" Pires dive made that lead to the freekick being taken in the first place.
