God forbib Hookey, but some of his decisions were not out of the Lilleshall handbook, he may as well not had any linesman he did not use them.Then again it was misty!!!!.Long way to go to get a 5-1 battering, still Leyton are a strong side.Looks like the managers bubble has burst,perhaps we can live a peaceful life again, no more crowing.Are you going tonight.

The ref was a disgrace. I don't think he affected the result as such but some of the decisions were a mad to say the least. The one when Steve Whitelock, 5'6 and 9 stone, when through after being pulled back by someone 5'10 and 11 stone was the worse. His linesman were not much better. The Mr Bean lookalike missed a blatant offside when the Bowers forward hit the post, then the arrogant twat turned his back to the players when they were arguing with him. I think Manor had more chances but at the same time Marshy cleared 2 off the line. So a fair result? Depends what way you look at it. Good to see nice football and no long ball. And no bad blood between the players.

Totally agree with you Manor player.I have had better refs for my boys on a Sunday.As you said at least the players got on with it as best they could and there was no hard feelings, you could easily have lost the plot and did well under the circumstances <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" />

Watched the game and your right, was the referee a Bowers fan.He was a disgrace to Eton Manor,and talk about bite your tongue the Manor manager walked to the stand side telling his supporters he had to get out the dug out before the one sided c--- sent me out? Thats honesty.

This is why people get so annoyed. Why are the refs in this league so bad? If it wasn't 1-1 there would have been murder! My favorite decision was when the forward knocked the ball out of play, the bowers bench called for a foul and the ref gave one agianst Jenko. Oh yeah and how about his version of what advantage is!!!!

some people will do anything to win a match.but lads from the manor at the end of the season where ever you finnish you can look in the mirror and say we done it all ourselves and never had the help of the refs and linos..plus essex fa look after there own always have always will

Let's be fair it was better than the last time, when Bowers had that knob in charge! Who the f**k was he and where has he gone? Bald twat! But the game was played in good spirit with no bad feelings between the players or benches.

To say the ref was poor would be an understatement, but lets not detract from what was a good game of football, played by two sides showing bags of potential.

 

Really pleased to see Bowers & Pitsea in good hands, Darran & Dean should take a lot of pride in what they are achieving there.

Manor were easily the better side today.Its hard enough to play against 11 but 11 plus the ref,well thats very hard.Did the man in black know he had Linesman today i dont think he did.If the esl top brass read this sort it out this bloke has got to be demoted back to where he came from under 7s over the park.
