According to the gazette MargateFC are considering having a new spaceage plastic pitch, apprently its no diffrent to normal pitches with bounce or anything can be used in any weather and is sanctiond by UEFA...

apprently we could be the 1st to use it tho if allowed...

nothing like the old astro turf then tongue

 

also the gazette says the ground papers are to be handed in today this afternoon. and that watson isnt fit still so thats why he is a sub.

Some of the top clubs already have plastic webbing woven into their grass pitches. It stops them being cut up. From what I've read on the subject, the technology has moved on massively since the days QPR and Luton had plastic pitches.
