I have spoken to Den on the phone today and he says he is not joining Maidenhead and has signinged two new players.

 

The leagues current top scorer Dean Clarke has joined from Northwood and also a keeper from Lewes, but I can't remember the name.

 

I hope this will put an end to all the rumours!!

The two new players were at training last night and subject to any administration problems should be available for Saturday.

 

BTW, the keeper is huge and DeanClark has got one hell of a strike on him.

There's no rumours at York Road linking Dennis with us - many names but no Greene, but then our last appointment was a surprise. Favourite is some bloke from Portsmouth. I guess we have a small fan base for the same reason - rich town, no interest in footie, so that's not an issue. Word is, though, that we're close to announcing a major stadium deal though.

Found out more from good source - apparently our Chairman (who's been asupporter for years) has approached a chairman of a Ryman Premier club to make an official offer to their manager. The source is usually reliable, especially as our chairman is known for doing things the right way as he did with wealdstone. Still dont see it happening though as the hard core support hate everyone from marlow, Windsor, Slough etc !! Favourite is Cordery at Staines not this bloke from Portsmouth
