37 hours and counting...

Had quite an alcohol fueled night yesterday evening but apart from a jippy tummy that was probably caused by the Mexican dinner I had I felt perfectly fine. Was drinking shots of Tequilla mixed in with Archers. Tasted really tame!! Think I'll stick to the Samboukas!!

I was impressed with Laz actually as gertcha, YB and myself were going for it when we went to Carshalton and he just stayed on the diet cokes.

It's two weeks now! I'm getting quite a taste for Diet Coke. I don't even want a beer although I'm missing the old Peruvian Marching Powder.

right its wednesday and still no booze (tho i did try to get out on it today i had no joy finding a bar buddy, this hasnt happened for over a year.. it must be a sign).. any way i now have a cold and i am really struggling to stay awake.. last night i nearly missed my stop on the way home after crashing out as soon as i got on the train..

Mrs Z is cooking me roast chicken tonight, stuffing, sausages, the works, so... promised myself a glass or two of the red vino.

 

We also have a bottle of champagne at home which we were given on our wedding day a couple of years ago, which we decided to keep until our first child was born, so we'll toast him with that tonight too!

Well I now have 5 nightshifts on the spin. I had my last can about 2am this morning and don't invisage drinking again until Monday evening, that'll be about 136 hours.

i feel fking crap.. into day four and all i have to show for it is about the fourth cold of this winter.. i blame the lack of booze.. how am i going to smoke 20 fags tomorrow feeling like this!!?!
