i made it till 12 pm then ahd a friendly 6 bottles of kirin.. but i did manage to swerve the post work drinks.. so by 1.30 pm ill be up to 24 hours.. then its off to delightful east london to watch the equally delightful leeds utd.. i reckon there be a few pints going down tonght..

you want to be careful Laz.. if you leave it too long you will forget how to drink and be on your [****!!****] after 4 pints of stella..(mind you the cost savings could be considreable)..

as for giving up in Dec C.Z. its the best time, the boozers are full of tossers

And yes, I'm concerned that I'll make a **** of myself when I have my next drink, but I'll be out with family so I don't really care.

once you have done 2 weeks you can officially consider yourself 'dry'..

all alcohol based toxins will have left your system.. you should be sleeping well, feeling fine and have none of the usual personality disorders of the average pints monster.. your life will be up to date, all bills paid, car insured in plenty of time etc.. you will also find you seem to have endless amounts of time and the desire and energy to fill this time doing useful stuff, visiting people blah etc etc.. other symptoms of being 'dry' can include an inrresistable desire to go for walks and suddenly find all the events that go on around town strangly intresting.. the weekend carol concert, the show at the local theatre, lawn bowls.. its a strange scary world out there...

Actually, Dylan's coming home this weekend. Reckon there'll be plenty there to keep me occupied and keep my mind off the booze.
