Slough Borough Council are a bunch of *****

But these were the same people who canvassed lies about our supporters being holigans and worried all the locals into voting out our new plans...

the boot is on the other foot if you pardon the phrase...

Sorry I am not sticking up for the council because I dislike them as much as you, but the point is if Reading have been at the local schools for the past couple of years, it was the PREVIOUS council that allowed it to happen.

You are certainly not a "player".

You want to be careful being pedantic given your spelling and punctuation. We have our own grammar police on here.

(No offence PJ and Paul)

Possibly, though I don't ever recall it being publicised as such i.e. SBC and Reading FC working together. Reading in the community have their own schemes but don't have to go to the council to get access to schools. This chrimbo activity has clearly been put together by the council and it wouldn't surprise me if they were subsidising the course in some way.

Lets get it right, we have not had anything to do with kids football for years. Ask Ian where his boy plays, Mr Deaner is just not lnterested and never has been.

Tom does his training at either Tekyo school in Stoke Poges or at Priory School towards Burnham. Both courses are run by Wycombe which he attends because nobody else does anything similar in the area. This is organised completely independently by WWFC though with no involvement from nyone else. They book the venues, market the courses and run them. Putting aside any local rivalry, the whole set up Wycombe have is exceptional. They're extremey well organised, well run, the coaches are superb and the kids really enjoy them.

For SBC to actively promote a scheme such as this reeks of hyprocracy. Don't be fooled though. Stokes and his crowd will have done this solely to spite Slough Town Football Club, of that I have no doubt. They will have sat there and tried to come up with a plan of how to have a dig back at the club following the adverse publicity they've rightly received.

Don't let it get to you. Slough Town Football Club will outlast all of the current shower in charge, let alone the leader.

You are bang out of order if you think our much loved council organised this as a snub to Slough.

They are up to thier necks in a budget crisis, losing staff by the day and having meetings every night to agree whether they all want sugar in their tea.

Complete incompetance does not begin to explain what is going on inside the town hall. To think that they could think up a stunt like this would require planning, thought and action. Has anyone noticed any of those lately from our lords and masters. No what hurts most is they did not even consider Slough in all this.
