Slough Borough Council are a bunch of *****

The Council made the decision to turn its back on the Kennedy Park development which would have included facilties to be used by young people in the area, and would have provided a firm footing for the football club within the community.

 

Having done that, they then decide to use Reading FC in the Community to put on a soccer school. What a bunch of backstabbing *********** they are

Reading FC have been visiting local schools in the Slough area for the last couple of years and running after school clubs, some running for as long as six weeks.

I've no problem with Reading FC as they have a job to do themselves, but for the council to welcome them open arms whilst kicking STFC in the teeth at every opportunity is a bit much.

Yes Anon but the point is Slough Town FC used to run Football in Community in the Slough area back when we had a club in Slough for the people of Slough and the benefit of Slough. Our youth system helped bring players from Slough through such as Lloyd Owusu. So now what are Slough Borough Council doing using Reading FC. Seems to be something a bit odd there.

 

I thought the people of Slough were not interested in football? Or indee leisure facilities full stop.

I reckon after Windsor rejected his attempts to merge with them as he claims Slough is too small as a Unitary Authority, he's decided to go for the big one and merge Slough with Reading.........He's already started using Reading FC for Football in the Community.....

Any ideas for some sort of protest to this the slough football in the community was great i remember regularly chatted to Billy (mark) Fiore when he used to come to our school to play with the girls (oooo-er)

we can't actually build anything without a council on our side because of the small details of planning permission, getting a lease, etc...

I have no faith in this man ...I am sure he knew what he was doing and has proved a complete and utter contempt for his towns football club !!!

So what would you of rather have done? Let the kid's of Slough suffer because they won't let you play in slough?

 

Ok so yes it is slighty off but teaching kid's football is different to having a stadium with a large amount of supporters turning up most weeks.

 

There is a clear difference between your 'problems' and allowing a Soccer school in the area.

Allowing a soccer school is not the problem. Actively promoting another football club when you've done your level best to kill of the town's football club is another matter altogether.

I am told last Sunday at Britwell a apparent junior football game ended up in allsorts of troubles - fighting slagging off spectators and families... what a way to conduct junior football...is this true does anyone know about the incidents ??

 

They were telling us that their did not want any holigians or a football stadium - is this becuase they have their own ...

Yes we cant do anything like this at the moment is one thing ----becuase we don't have home of our own !!

Maybe something at the Polish club could have been arranged....did any one ask us ... NO !!!!
