Michael Bartley on his way out?

From the IsthmianFans.net website:-

Striker Michael Bartley has made a good impression while on trial at Thame United, so much so that Thame manager Andy Sinnott is hoping to secure the signature after his performance in Monday's friendly against Oxford United. Sinnott said: "We have offered him terms and I am confident he will sign. He is a good player, who can play up front or on either flank."

I would just like to point out that it was my brother Mark who has signed for Thame and not me, he played against Oxford on Monday. I was training with Slough on Tuesday and I have been in constant contact with Steve Browne, I would appreciate it if someone could update that story.

Thanks.

I'd like to state this to the supporters of Slough Town before anyone hears any rumours from elsewhere, and I believe this is the best place to do it. Due to certain circumstances, which are largely inappropriate for public discussion, it is with some regret that I would like to announce that I will not be present at Slough for the 2002/03 campaign. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wexham Park and believe I have improved as a result of my time there. I would like to thank the supporters (even the ones that heckled me after the infamous 2 goals a game misquote!) who have always got right behind the team even through hard times. I would also like to wish the rest of the lads all the best for this season.

Very well worded Mr Bartley!

Will be sorry to see you go, because now Andy Deaner is back in the focus! Still, he may prove us wrong yet...

Where now for you Michael? Back to Burnham, or going to join the Chesham revolution?

Wherever you end up, all the best, and keep in touch.

Bloody hell, Andy Deaner back in the frame! When will we be rid of this menace.

I can barely put up with the effective relegation as a result of the re-structured league, and now the thought of him leading our attack....................................oh no, embarrassing or what! Flying bicycle kicks, complete ineptitude, open goals, headless chicken ..........

At least Winston and Hale are there, Hopefully Browne' will start with these, if he doesn't then, well. It will be interesting to see who turns out against Hayes and also to see how fit they are. Chris/ Gary, do you know what has happened to our three veterain Centre Backs?

Well I'm very sad to see you go Michael. I know a lot of Slough fans thought a lot of you. Maybe nearly 300 views on this thread on you tells you how much!

Pitty you wont reconsider; we would have really liked you back for this season. If you do move no offence but you can really do a lot, lot better than going back to Burnham.

Good luck

Chris
