Last nights game

It was my first terrace attendance at the Fleet last night and I was amazed at the passionate support by a number of fleet fans at the Plough end . The only dissappointment was the amount of critics I heard who have a very short memory as to how well the team have done over the last couple of seasons.

 

I will endeavour to go to more games and cheer the team on.

I didn't go, wasn't feeling on top form, but I suspect many supporters felt that it was a wee bit cold to stand and watch the fleet when they could sit comfortably in an armchair and watch the gunners beat rosenborg or c****** get beaten by porto.

 

I'm not an arsenal supporter before anyone starts, and for the record, I can't stand the other team.

Thats the difference between "So called Supporters" and "Real Supporters". The latter would be standing in the cold!

Yeah, fair enough. I imagine the "real supporters" or majority of them, were the 800 or so that were there on tuesday. I would have been, if it wern't for this stinking cold and not wanting to make it worse before saturday, so that I can be there to give Liam Hatch some abuse!

I wasn't hitting at you, but well remember being one of eighty people who stood in the pouring rain for a Kent Senior Cup Tie once.On the Saturday 200 people talking about the game as if they had been there.

I've stood in the pouring rain before now as well, and also stood freezing my ass off at the exeter FA Cup reply last year, when we went to penalties.

 

hopefully there'll be a good turnout against the bees on saturday,the boys are gonna need it, with Barnet on an 11 game unbeaten run.

Hardly a fan if you cant be bothered to turn out, 800, hardly the crowd of a potential league club is it, why not just ground share with Gillingham and get a few more punters through the door? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />

I couldn't make it either, I was working a 2 -mdt outside in Ramsgate docks.
I known where I would rather have been!!

800 odd people, blame the conference for putting on a fixture when there are free weeks earlier in the season.

Well, I didnt go because I was at work. Watched the game on Teletext. Will be working tomorrow as well. However you can add my two places on for the next three of four games. Never get a job that involves shiftwork...if you love your football.
