Tonights game

Exactly, see Andy's defintitely trying to bring in some new faces up front and is just a little unlucky so far in that nothings worked out. And I'm pretty sure he said the right things in that dressing room at half time to get the lads to come out and salvage that point.

Well he was obviously aware of the lack of options because Jefferson Louis was brought in on loan. But at the same time, Roy and Manny seemed to strike up a partnership that would be regularly on the scoresheet during the season. That obviously didn't last however.

Standing behind the goal it was definitely a second yellow.

The challenge looked worse than it was, he had every right to go for a 50/50 ball and did make contact with it, however, he followed through with studs showing which is always at least a booking. His first yellow however wasn't even a foul.

So I presume Farnborough reached the required number of cards for an investigation of some kind. I can only describe them as an ALE HOUSE side, and we really should be stuffing teams like them

As for their second goal, Pullen was put into a dodgy position from bad defending letting the ball drop through.
Granted, he could have been a bit quicker in committing himself and coming off his line but he used his head and ducked the challenge.
OK, they scored from it but it could have been ten men after 20 minutes and 2-0 down which may have been insurmountable.

A fair point - but from my view it looked like Pullen got to the ball first, and so had the opportunity to kick it away. However, as I've already said, he was generally solid and his save in injury time was vital.

Without sounding anti-Andy - who's at fault for the fact we started the season with limited options in attack anyway?

Assuming they wanted to stay, I agree that Abbey's and Haworth's departures were disappointing. It reminds me a little of the season before, when Liam, Che and Kevin Budge all departed with little in the way of replacements at first.

Not read all the post's on hear so sorry if already mentioned.

Penalty? The one in the first half, didn't see who it was. If a player kicks an opposing player in the area and doesn't get the ball then it's a foul. I guess the guy that wrote the report was changing his underwear after wetting himself from the refs performance.

To be fair quite a few of us weren't singing that..i thought it was a bit harsh on Pullen, fair enough he messed up but he didn't need us telling him that..

Yes, it was harsh. Clearly it was frustrating at the time that, just like the last time we changed 'keepers, we concede owing to a goalkeeping error, but just as in Mitten's case, mistakes like this don't automatically make a 'keeper a bad one.
