late kick off wouldn't of helped and footie on tv but it is poor but Windsor is not a football town and those who do go to footie can afford to go to Chelsea or any london club. One of the (many) downsides of living in such a well off area.

Its about time - a mid week day is kept free from television ! Its going to destroy non league !

Wealdstone V Yeading last night did not make 300 ! and if we had been at home as well (ALBEIT) at windsor we would have struggled to get 300 as well....

KEEP A WEEKDAY FREE FROM LIVE TV !!!!!

Does anyone know how many 'pre-sold' tickets where sold for the Slough vs Yeading game. I guess eveone who brought one of those tickets will have a claim to go to it. Must of been over 1500 from what i saw.

be careful matt , its against the law ! to sell a ticket above face vaulue...however if you sell the stubb from our match - that could be sold...at a higher price....

They couldn't move it to St James'

I think the rules do allow for it to be played at St James' Park but the revenue Yeading would get is calculated on the basis of it being a 2500 crowd as if it was at their ground. So they could have changed it if they fancied a day out in a nice stadium but not for financial reasons like Farnborough, sorry Graham Westley, did.

The chances are it wouldn't have been televised had they switched it so this is the best all round. I'd love to see the faces of the overpaid Newcastle nancy boys when they drive up the road to The Warren!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
