Vs Farnboro and Injuries

Robbo

Recommended Posts

Big game for us tommorow but I'm not expecting a large crowd. Maybe 1200ish at a guess? Still, lets try and make the best out of what we have and give the boys some encouragement. It's what they need at the moment with their confidence so low.

On BBC Sport the preview says we have several injury problems as a lot of players picked up knocks against Scarboro. It doesn't name anyone but that definitely isn't good news. Still, I'm sure we'll make do.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Three factors will affect tomorrow's atendance:

1) We've had a bad run of results.

2) 'Borough are not the best supported club in the league as well as...

3) It's on a Tuesday ...and its close to Xmas.....four factors will affect tomorrow's attendance........

Also bear in mind Arsenal & Chelsea are both on terrestrial TV so I fear its the die-hards only tomorrow....er, five factors will affect etc. etc.........

....I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition......

All this makes you wonder what our main weapon of surprise will be against Boro tonight, John...

I'm serious - I'm worried about it!

Seriously - BBC website says;

"Gravesend boss Andy Ford has a number of new injury worries ahead of the home encounter with Farnborough.

Several of the squad suffered knocks during the 1-0 defeat at Scarborough on Saturday and Ford is expected to make a late decision on their fitness."

Sounds like a worrying time.

You've missed out the biggest factor . Chicory Tip are performing live at the Swanscombe Pavillion. 2 quid entrance fee..

Yes,

Chicory Tip had a number 1 song in 1972 called Son of My Father and also had a top 20 hit in 1973 with Good Grief Christina.

As for injuries I've got arthritic knees and can just about manage to waddle around the outside of the pitch.

I was wondering if anyone knew who the "injuries" were!

If anybody does know, please make sure you post it here early as the Farnborough management would like to know before they leave and not have to wait until the they get the team sheet.
