Stansted's first friendly this season was against Hinton FC of the Herts Senior County League at the riverside club in Enfield. The first game was Stansted's youth team against Hinton reserves and the youth team looked good and deservedly beat the reserves 3-1. Then the two first teams met and Hinton's performance was extremely encouraging. In a physical game, both teams played some good stufff and despite the difference in leagues, Hinton matchyed Stansted in every department and recorded a superb 6-3 victory. Definitely a team for the future.

 

Also, does anyone know when Enfield Town are playing AFC Wimbledon in a friendly?

Enfield Town v AFC Wimbledon is on 12 August, k.o. 7.45pm.

The game is being played at Cheshunt FC.
