Yeading vs Newcastle

Don't think we can go up if we stay at Windsor anyway, I don't think the ground would achieve the necessary grading for the Conference South, and I understand Windsor are not applying to have it graded either at this present time.

Just thinking about the players though, because this Yeading game will be all over the papers for the next three weeks rubbing salt into the wounds and what could have been. Will be an immense test of character for all of them until that tie is played.

I'd be happy to stay in this division until we can get ourselves sorted out off the pitch with a stadium, which hopefully Eddie and Micky will still be here to reap the rewards from.

Well, they deserve it and will be representing the Ryman League against the Premiership. As such, I am sure they will have the support of fans of all Ryman clubs, and I think of neutral supporters. If they put up a good showing, it reflects positively on football at our level generally, as well as Yeading individually. Yeading should hold the match wherever thay can generate maximum revenue - who wouldn't?

If Lewes's stadium is okay for conference South Windsor's should be with a bit of work.

Plus didn't i hear the 'grading rule' for the regional conference leagues is suspended for 3 years?

Sorry to be bitter but i hope they get stuffed beyond belief...

Your bitterness only affects you. Yeading won't mind being stuffed when they are counting the cash.

Nathan, i am not saying they dont deserve it, they totally outplayed us yesterday, but i still feel bitter, and the What If... factor is really kicking in.... What if:-- Seedel had started, What if Veli had been fit, What if Hodgey Had squared it etc etc

Be mellow my friend, what ifs always work both ways. Slough had a great run - no cause for bitterness. Now enjoy Yeading's success with good grace. They are 'one of us' against the filthy rich aristocracy.

Indeed. What if Croydon had equalised late on in that first match, what if Allaway hadn't made about three stunning saves.

It's behind us now. Focus on the future and getting this proud club, and it's supporters, back into Slough where it belongs.
