If you could decide who Yeading were to draw in the 3rd round, would you wish them well and hope they get a Tottenham or glamour tie at home. Thinking that could of been us.

 

Or would you want them to get a cr@p draw, like a long trip to a 1st or 2nd div team or remaining non league team. (if any are left) (not checked full results yet.)

I hope they get the best draw possible. I think any club at our level would struggle to host a Premiership tie, but I hope they get a Premiership side, home or away.

 

I think they'll do well in the league regardless of how much further they progress in the cup. Them and Eastleigh have really impressed me this season and I think they'll be one and two, although I've not seen 'Ricay yet.

I am glad you said that Gary and Chris, I was trying to gage whether Slough fans felt bitter or resentful, hats of to you boys if you can all wish Yeading the best.

disapointed....so were our players , which is good to see in a way... gutted...they know they did not play well....

As I type Hinkley are holding Brentford 0-0. The devil in me thinks it would be funny if Yeading got Hinkley in the next round. The torturing "What Ifs" will continue if Yeading get a plum tie and/or a live TV game (only just forgotten we missed out on Bristol City after falling to Harrogate Railway last time... doh! just remember it!).

 

Suffice to say, the more magnanimous part of me wishes Yeading that plum tie and all the attention and riches that will follow with it.

 

Right, I'm off to E-bay to sell my ticket stub from yesterday's match...
