Anyway. It seems that his signing-on fee and wages at Long Melford F.C. has rocked the Adnams South-West Suffolk Sunday League Division IV to its very foundations. I hope that the new Chairman is thinking with his brain and not his wallet.

 

One more thing. What's the new Main Thread thing about The Prediction League 2002/3? Can't we do it on here?

Greetings AFF. A certain Jay Deveraux played against us for Enfield FC on January 1st, 2001. I can find no record of him ever playing for us but the stattos may know different.

Jay Devereux didn't play against St. Albans City during the 2001-02 season. Made 21 Lge app for Enfield in 00-01 and during the three previous seasons scored eight times in 107 Lge games for Ford Utd.

It would appear that the exChairman is telling anyone at Long Melford who is stupid enough to listen that he was driven out of Clarence Park by the Hate Mob. Would have thought that the local MP's comment that he should leave the club would have carried more weight. Suppose he has told LMFC how he tripled our debt during his time here and drove away from the club many of its most commited workers on the committee, not to mention the high number of supporters he got shot of - season tickets down from 114 to 4 during his reign. Jay Devereux must be mad.
