Any match reports

Very quiet on here this morning, are we all in a state of disbelief that we cannot seem to win lately, or are we still in bed. I can't find a full match report anywhere at the moment. I'll just have to wander down and buy the NLP. Be optimistic our results will all start to change on Tuesday guys.

Well, since you're asking...

It was another pretty poor display to be honest, and we definitely didn't deserve to win, and barely deserved a point. A frantic start just like last week, with all our best chances coming in the first five minutes - the 'keeper blocked one from close range from Pinnock, and also Poppers had one cleared off the line.

But while the first half was really even, the second half was mainly Scarborough (a familiar story). We only had a couple of half-chances all half and, while Scarborough only really had two decent efforts on goal all game (the goal itself, and a free-kick that Wilko parried over the bar superbly), the pressure they put on just increased throughout the half, and eventually the goal came - frustratingly, on a breakaway. Another ground, like Nigel Clough's Burton Albion's Eton Park, where we just can't seem to win.

To be fair, the injury problems at the moment are a real concern, as the fact that we had four defenders and a 'keeper on the bench shows. Poppers went off injured as well, although it didn't look too serious.

Even a few weeks ago, many of us were identifying Tuesday's match against Farnborough as a key game to try and get back on track, and seeing as we still haven't won since the Leigh game, it has assumed even more importance - particularly with tough games against Barnet, Hereford and Crawley away (who, like Scarborough, haven't lost at home all season) to follow. Furthermore, the recent good form of Northwich and Forest Green has made me worried about what is happening below us.
