thats about the 5th game in a row where i've felt rather short-changed by the referee.

 

got me thinking (always a bad move)

 

are we really being shafted, or are we too biased in favour of our own club?

 

if it's the former, do you think it could be anything to do with the amount of stick we give each referee (step forward bob..) or is the amount of stick given to them relative to their ineptitude?

 

if the latter, do we expect every decision to go in our favour, or are we footballing ignoramuses who do not understand half of the man in blacks decisions?

We all (me included) can be somewhat blinkered (by our loyalties). Thats not to say refs don't make mistakes because (I'm told) they're human and to err is human!

It's not bias...they are all sh1t...we really have had some poor refereeing and lino's decisions go against us recently...

Sorry lads I don't think they're all bad, the ref at Cambridge didn't put a foot wrong and the one at home v St Albans issued two yellows for too much GBH on the eardrums twice! and correctly so.

In the fast game that we have nowadays particularly under lights the man in the middle only has a short time to make a decision so have a bit of patience.

You tell me a player that gets every pass or tackle correct, well it's the same for refs.

I know there are some bad ones but in general the Man Management side is not that bad.

Would appreciate your constructive views please.

Worst thing about ref's is there inconsistency. I played today and a player from the opposition called the ref a c**t and got booked. When one of my team mates told him to f*ck off he sent him off
