Although most of the crowd were only there for the occasion yesterday (from both sides), you could say the same for any non-league club in the draw. The Histon game was a sell-out yesterday.

 

Still, would be nice to get crowds this size on a regular basis:

i brought a ticket...i blagged the pass when i got in the ground and helped out a bit!

had some Slough fans come round today who don't go every week to say the least and they said some of the yeading fans were a bit out of order. I guess they were not 'true' Yeading fans but it's a shame they tainted the day for some.

 

One women in front of me told A yeading fan just supporting his team to "shut up! Shut up! It's our ground shut up!"

 

To which Mal said "Eerr No love! It's OUR ground!"

 

She soon shut up!

 

Apart from the the crowd was great if a a little bit silent at times! But i guess nerves got to ya and you choked just like your players! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It annoys me as many people turn up pretending to be die hard Slough fans, only turn up to the big games, and couldn't give a damn about the club otherwise. They say things none of us other die hard fans would say - gives the club a bad reputation.
