Bottom line: get behind the team ! It's a tough new world out there, players will make mistakes, so they need our support (I'm probably a bit naive, but aren't supporters called "supporters" rather than "barrackers" or "whingers" for a reason ?) The players are not lacking in commitment in my view - sometimes we lack a bit of pace and awareness, but we are not doing that badly so far. The club is in its first season at this level so we will struggle at times - but not all the time !

None of the fans on here want to see us playing a team in a field behind an insustrial estate somewhere in the home counties. I want the club to succeed and move forward ramming it down the throats of bigger clubs who come to our little part of Essex giving it "S**t Ground, No fans"

 

Our day will come and I for one will be there through thick and thin, home and away where possible, until that day comes.

 

I will criticise and remark on players and tactics where and how I see it - I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinion and thats all it is - my opinion. I may not rate a player, but that doesn't mean I hate my team.

 

Deflecting attention from our players for a second (although still technically whinging) - I was disappointed in Nigel Clough - I was waiting to see a spark of brilliance and it just didn't happen. I was also correct when I thought it was him who made the dodgy back pass, or piece of brilliance that went wrong, that beat his own defence and Braniff latched onto.

 

As for Tuesday night - I think we will give a more honest reflection of ourselves and could get a result of sorts.

Nigel Clough made it into the team of the weekend in the Non League Paper. Someone thinks he had a great game.

 

As for our season, i dont think we have much to worry about as long as we keep plugging away. I'm positive that we will avoid relegation and finish somewhere between 8th and 15th, which will do me fine.

 

But if we dont beat the Dagenham scum, i will be very pi**ed off. I fu*king hate them!

 

Tomorrow nights prediction will be a 1-1 draw because i think Aldrshot will be a little down after SUCH A THRASHING! HA HA! (Only joking, just felt like pay back when i heard that result.) But seriously, i think they will be a little bit tired and i feel that things may start to turn for us after avoiding another defeat this weekend.

TO everyone going to aldershot and halifax lets all sing our hearts out for the lads and let them know what a good job they are doing. YES lately has been frustraiting but it is our 1st season in the league and we are still learning. we still have the likes of Boylan, junior, dobbo, keeling and minton to come back so there are going to be good times ahead me thinks
