I'm surprised no-one's yet mentioned the THREE blatant shirt-pulling incidents by Abbey defenders in their own box, none of which was given.

 

Or the fact that the Abbey no 2 (sorry I haven't got the team list with me and I've forgotten his name) was twice allowed to kick Matt Negus from behind, with no attempt to play the ball yet wasn't even booked for the second. He couldn't have complained if he'd walked for the first.

 

But we didn't lose because of the ref. We lost because Abbey defended well - every time Rudi or Matt tried to play the ball through there was an Abbey player there to intercept. That wasn't luck, that was excellent organisation.
