The lads just didn't show today. Not sure if a 2nd minute converted penalty to put us 1-0 up bred complacency. Didn't really create much at all. An early 2nd half chance blocked on the line and that was about it. Josias and Alex didn't get a look in. (S)haddows of their former selves (oh, the humour through pain!). Yeading will be milking the spotlight until the 3rd round now regardless of the draw. Almost guaranteed live match. I'm not making myself feel any better here, but got to get it out! Nevertheless, have to say Yeading fully deserved it. Better side on the day and all that. Well done to our lads. We've had a good run and got some good publicity. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bawling.gif" alt="" />

I think playing that last 12 minutes of the first half with only 10 men seemed to hand the initiative to Yeading. Up until that point we were in there. Should of brought Danny on as he is a more than capable replacement for Hadds as he proved last week. Good luck to Yeading, best team won. But its hurting bad.

Yes ...hard to take that on the chin...but the best team won on the day - Our lads were gutted too....just did not seam to get going....

 

BUT WE ARE STILL PROUD OF THEM !!!!

 

2nd round of the FA cup --- by the lowest placed team still left in the cup ...a mighty result in the previous round....slough people turning up ! papers and radio coverage....

 

all in all a bloody good result..... !!!!!

Brasset may be trying to find out who i am and he's not even close.he is as loyal to cheshunt as lord hawhaw was to wartime britain because hes an enfield fan.i shall be at cheshunt when hes gone back to his insignificant level 5 club where in a couple of years time you shall be playing them.
