I think the lure of a third round ticket was the puller for it. Many neutrals will have gone along from other local sides hoping for the winners of the tie to have a big away day at a Premiership side and they get priority for tickets.

not knocking it at all, Gary! It's just a shame that people only come to the 'big' games really as if they came every week you'd be in the conference easily

If we were in the Conference we'd be getting the majority of those people back. A lot of people left once we left the Conference and filtered off to Wycombe, Brentford and Chelsea, but if we were able to rise back through the leagues, a lot of those fans would return as Slough are their 'other' team.

 

There were a lot of people there in old shirts. Hopefully this will go some way to re-igniting their interest in the club and we can add a few regulars on.

Yes but i'd support Windsor if we went down to Ryman league 2 and below still and i'm sure you'd do the same for Slough. I just don't 'get' coming for the big games as it won't mean that much to those fans but to the 'die hards' it would really mean alot.
