The meeting...

Recommended Posts

Very well done to the club liked the way they are getting us involved which is what the whole thing was about. It's not a club campaign or a Reporter one it's the fans campaign, and not just about the Gillingham thing but just about making us going fowards and turning us into a dominate league force.

Well done everyone involved and wh turned up and heres to the next meeting.

All headlined above really. Just let us know where we stand as fans. It was outlined that this is not an anti Gillingham campaign were on it is an anti Gillingham moving to Gravesend campaign that were on. We were invited to put up posters in our local shops liberies ect ect... so that we can make more of the towns people aware of where we are, maybe what we could do is have a poster up with say the next five fixtures on and put it up in the local shop window.

Leaflets with the fixtures for the remainder of the season on. Perhaps the reporter can put leaflets inside their paper.

Anyone on here have kids that deliver papers? If you ask the people from where they pick the papers up to put posters/leaflets in the papers I sure they would only be to happy with that.

What about at your work? Can you put posters up anywhere? At my place of work I am resposible for making sure posters go up and I also do the post so I can do something there. What can you be doing?

What about organising a day out at the Fleet with work colleagues/friends?

I'm sure most of these ideas are bad and not thought through but they are ideas none-the-less. If anyone else has any ideas don't be shy share them with us....

C'mon this is for our future

I've put a poster up in the pub! Almost everyone said "What's all that about, then?" Everyone who loves, or just likes this football club......even just a little bit.... needs to get on the bandwagon and promote G&NFC in whatever way they can, no matter how small. It's a joint effort that will involve the club, its board and management, the supporters, possibly the players, the Trust, the media, everybody. Indeed, this requires a true team effort, just like we expect from the players every week.

We need to 'educate the uneducated' and make sure the people of Gravesham understand there is no room for two football clubs in this area and this area belongs to The Fleet. Don't hum and ah about it, think of something, get off your ar*e and do it. Today.
