One should of course bear in mind before reading the article, though, that it is written by the very man who departed the club in the past few days.

So, 'professional differences' led to Paul's departure, according to the article - although I believe Brian denied this at the meeting. Reminds me a little of the 'operational differences' cited when Aitken departed. Oh well, I suppose it's standard practice to be a little bit guarded when someone departs a football club.

Also, I wonder what will happen to the programme now.

With such stalwarts as Bondy and Paul Harrison gone, makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes of the Club....Time for the Chairman to make a "clear the air" statement, as he did for the ground situation!

I'm not sure that you can describe Paul Harrison as a stalwart, he has only been with us a few months.

Two people have left the club in a couple of months... it's not really 'behind the scenes skullduggery'... people leave jobs all the time for different reasons, as do players leave clubs, so let's not make mountains out of molehills. If it seemed to affect the running of the club, we may well ask questions, but it doesn't seem to have.

There are two Paul Harrison's which is why you are confused, one is local and is the Club's Historian and one joined the club recently.

It is the "new one" that has left and then written the scurilous article on Fleet Mad.

I certainly made Bob G's face a picture last night. I was talking to him when ordering a Newcy Brown. I was asked if I wanted a small or pint glass. Maybe those with the inside knowledge may not be puzzled by the goings. Us without the inside gossip are.

 

I don't understand whats going on. Its obvious that the Paul H who updates the Fleet Mad website has a passion for the club. Which I am sure he still has. Rightly ot wrongly I thought that the massive improvement in the programme was in some way contributable to him.

I believe he also has experience at football PR. All things that this club needs.. So some Fans are perturbed that he has gone. I don't understand whats happening, so in some way his piece on the mad website is not scurilous at all, I agree with its sentiment.

 

But i am not on the inside and don't know the facts.
