I came along at half-time expecting to get in for free, but alas, the lad on the gate was having none of it.

 

Nevertheless, I went up to the nu-look clubhouse, and parted with my cash in a more beneficial way to me. A few pints of English ale.

 

Can we have some cider though?? Just a suggestion - I like the really strong cloudy stuff that they have in the Mermaid. Well nice.

 

Also, I think people who regularly use the clubhouse, and put loads of cash behind the bar should get a voucher for a couple of quid off the price of a game. Just a thought. £8 - a lot of money for a non-league game when I can get into my beloved Cambridge United for £10.

 

Anyway, I'm diversing.

I concur on the Cider issue.

 

Personally, I'd like to see all non-English drinks replaced with a range of Ciders, Perrys, Ales and Breezers. And Aftershock too.

 

When will we get Green Aftershock?
