Entirely agree with you Peter. On many occasions it is the quiet ones in defence who put in the sterling efforts and can often be overshadowed by a goalscorer who might score a goal in one game and win the game thus getting all the accolades and yes, bearing in mind he has really come from no-where he has fitted in well and shown some good form at the back. Now he is even venturing forward and supplying our forwards with opportunities. His work rate, ability and confidence has been improving at a fast rate. He is well worth a vote or two in my book.

problem to me is if the defence is so good why have we the third worst diffrence in the goals against? i know there getting better! and i agree smith is good but they need to work harder still...

Didn't say the defence was good. But am sure we are getting there! If you are talking about corners from the opponents then I agree with you. I too shudder when those high balls go in. However I have a feeling that tomorrow we will see a solid defence and a resounding success.

Hope these words don't come back to haunt me.

i just got in and had a long day, i think i put what i ment across badly...

 

and i did mean the corners from the opponents, also agree that we are looking far stronger in defence.. tommrow is the game i most wanted to see this season good for the win i recon.
